This article aims to answer the question whether it is possible for Hollywood studios to ensure their profits. Is there a way the filmmakers could minimize their costs and gain at least moderate earnings, no matter how the spectators react? Is there any "recipe for success", given the changing and unpredictable nature of the movie market? To resolve this enigme, we are going to make a research on the process of filmmaking, then we will concentrate on the factors that have the most important impact on a movie's success. Eventually, we will test our theory on the example of a precise blockbuster series, "Pirates of the Carribean," which belong among the most successful modern movies
