Foreign Direct Investment inflows to african countries

Since the beginning of the 1990s, foreign direct investment plays an important role in the world economy and it is a realistic tool for assessing the competitiveness of the economy.The emerging importance of foreign direct investment in the african continent is driven by its potential of becoming the key factor behind the future african growth. In this thesis I am comparing the degree of correlation between various aspects related to FDIs with their actual inflows focusing on determining the key factors that affect decision makers when considering an investment within the african territory
