Impacts of the global crisis on the foreign trade of the Czech Republic

This bachelor thesis aims to clarify, what were the impacts of the global crisis on the foreign trade of the Czech Republic. This thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter describes the events that led to the global crisis and how it affected the international trade. This is achieved by analyzing the so-called Dot.com crisis from the turn of the millennium, its impacts on the international trade and its association with the global crisis. The second chapter explains the development of the Czechoslovak economy, with a special focus on the foreign trade, since the end of the World War II. This chapter is very important for understanding the context and conditions the Czech Republic had to face at the beginning of the global crisis. The third chapter analyzes the main impacts of the global crisis on the development of the foreign trade of the Czech Republic
