AUTHENTICITY AND STYLIZATION

In my Master's thesis, I focus on the processes of searching for the real nature of the theatrical character. I have tried to demostrate my argument on two distinct examples that I personally experienced as actress at Disk Theatre ? Marie in Moliere's Tartuffe and Karolina in Horvath's piece Kazimir and Karolina. I conclude that there are numerous approaches and means to achieve the final form of the actor's role and there is no pattern which we could use before we start thinking about the role itself
