The thesis ?Dramaturgy as an attempt at social discourse?? describes and analyses the selected seasons at four theatres: Münchner Kammerspiele, Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, Divadlo Na zábradlí and Divadlo Komedie (Pkd). Starting from these considerations, it examines their individual dramaturgy concepts and strives to express both specific and general features of their approach to establish them. The attention focuses on both the ideas behind and the content of individual concepts, as well as on their constituting elements, their layering and internal relationships.
