Violin parts in the oldest books of Czech Folk Music ( with a sight on the West and South Bohemia)

This bachelor thesis deals with a survey and analysis of the oldest extant music and sound sources of the Czech folk music and their usage for the reconstruction and fostering today. The thesis is divided into three chapters. In the first chapter, particular hand-written ( faksimile) and sound sources are described. The second chapter is dedicated to the analysis of these music sources. There are also reconstruction examples of the selected songs from the analysed music sources included. The third chapter is focused on violin interpretation. It reflects interpretation of folk music today compared to the oldest sound sources and problems with tuning of various casts of bagpipe music. The musical examles in the last paet of the chapter depict sound spectra of different tuning
