Václav Trojan: Concertino per tromba e orchestra

This thesis is concentrated on Concerto per tromba e orchestra from Czech composer of 20th century Václav Trojan (1907 ? 1983). Václav Trojan achieved celebrity as a composer of film music; however, Concertino belongs to the second and probably more interesting branch of his work ? art music. The first part of the thesis describes Trojan?s life and musical development trying to understand his style and creative personality.
