Analysis of unemployment in the district of Jihlava with focusing retraining courses

The problem of unemployment is still the current topic. Unemployment not only hassignificant impact on economic performance, but also a very strong pressure on the psyche of the unemployed and his family. Active employment policy is one of the tools, that may be reducing the unemployment rate. This thesis analyzes the labor market in the district of Jihlava, focusing on active employment policy, and implemented in this district. The theoretical part deals with unemployment and an active employment policy in general terms. The practical part deals with the problemsof unemployment and employment policy in the district of Jihlava. There outlined the demographic structure of population and economic characteristics of basic district. In particular, the work focuses on the development and structure of unemployment in thedistrict, which is compared to the national average.
