Pengaplikasian Tarian Sumazau Sebagai Simbol Ekspresi Diri

This study focuses on the application of symbols derived from the sumazau dance as a self expression. The researcher analyzes three various sumazau dance and identifies the dominant symbols to be applied in the artworks. This investigation employs observation and reference methods on past studies as the main approach for obtaining information about symbol for analysis as self expression. The outcam of this research is embodied in the form of video installation work. It is hoped that the study can be used as a reference and guidelines to researchers investigating symbols of traditional dance in the future
