This study had been carried out to identify the species of Channidae and Clariidae that occurred in Batang Kerang, Balai Ringin, Serian. A total of 30 species belonging to 10 famillies were collected from middle part of Batang Kerang comprising Channidae (2%), Clariidae (2%), Cyprinidae (45%), Siluridae (28%), Tetraodontidae (10%), Eleotridae (6%), Bagridae (5%), both Helostomatidae and Osphronemidae (1%) and Anabantidae (0.5%) respectively have been collected during this study.
