The regenerated celluloses were prepared by the dissolution of two different cellulosic materials derived from recycled papers in an aqueous-ba~ed solution of NaOH/thiourea/urea with the ratio of 8:6,5:8 by weight. The cellulose solutions were undergone freeze and thaw process before they were precipitated with the non-solvent, ethanol to form the regenerated cellulose, In another approach, cellulosic samples were cross-linked with sodium trimetaphosphate (STMP) in different mole ratios to identilY the highest degree of cross-linking of the regenerated crosslinked cellulose formed respectively. The products obtained were analyzed by their SEM micrographs and FfIR spectra, The results showed that the STMP has effective cross-linking action...
