Business Intelligence market analysis

The aim of this thesis is to find a suitable Business Intelligence solution for small and medium enterprises, based on market analysis of these solutions. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The first part focuses on the definition of Business Intelligence, its historical development, explaining the basic principles and main components of Business Intelligence. The second part is devoted to present the main players, both in the field of paid solutions, and in the field of open source solutions, as well as the definition of criteria for selecting the appropriate BI solutions for small and medium enterprises and comparison of selected products based on critical analysis. The conclusion summarizes the findings of work and selects the appropriate BI solution for small and medium enterprises
