Possibilities of utilization of the garden in the Church kindergarten in ipenská street in České Budějovice for enviromental education of children at the age 3 - 7 years.

The bachelor thesis "Prospective use of the garden in the Church Kindergarten in Lipenská street in České Budějovice for environmental education of children between 3rd and 7th year of age" is concerned about utilization and benefits of the garden in this kindergarten for the versatile development of the preschool children. It is mainly focused on the planting and gardening activities. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the function of gardens in the kindergartens in general and goes through the suitable garden layouts and equipment, the extent of environmental education in the General Educational Programme for Preschool Education (RVP PV) and the specificities of preschool education. In the practical part, the questionnaire method has been used to ascertain interest and opinions on possible impact of these activities on the children in the Church Kindergarten in Lipenská street. In addition, a direct observation has been used. The results have been recorded using recording forms with evaluation scales. This method serves to find out the extent of child´s personal development in some selected outputs of the School Educational Programme
