Patient - rescuer relationship

The purpose of this essay is to learn about basics of correct communication and outline its principles. The objective was to map situation concerning relationships between ambulance rescuers and rescued patients. Data has been collected on the basis of a qualitative study conducted in the form of moderated interview concerning the given issues and circumstances. Data was collected in České Budějovice, Tábor and Karlovy Vary. The target and subject of the research were nine health rescuers and nine patients rescued by ambulance. Analysis of all nine interviews maps aspects of health rescuers communication skills applied during emergency pre-hospitalization care. The results indicate prevailing agreement on the positive aspect of the profession, which is helping to people and life saving.
