The topic of the male auto-nude encompasses predominantly the contemporary art in historical context. It doesn't seek to categorize individual authors, but through analysis and critique of their motivation and outputs I intended to point to their different creative approaches and common elements. The area which I cover in this paper is the staged nude male auto-photography as a space for the self-fulfillment of the author
