The thesis Music Life in the terezin Ghetto with Focus on the Composer Viktor Ullmann gives basic information about music activities in the concentration campTerezin in 1941 - 1945. It focuses on Viktor Ullmann, a composer of German origin, who had lived in Czechoslovakia since 1919 and in 1942 was interned in Terezin. This work attempts to place him within the context of composer generation of 1920s and 30s and describe his composition development. His opera Der Kaiser von Atlantis is analysed in more detail. This opera, although necer actually performed in terezin, constituted the top of prostest and opposition movement of Terezin artists
