This bachelor´s thesis discusses development of flute concerto in its form before and during 20th century. For approximation of this topic it brings closer view on the six chosen concertos written during this period. These concertos are by J. Ibert, C. Nielsen, A. Jolivet, J. Feld, J. Rodrigo and L. Liebermann. There is also a list of composers (mostly foreigners) and their concertos that contain and use as well modern and classical compositional techniques and processes as new acoustic possibilities of modern flute
