Bohuslav Martinů - Works for violine and piano

My work is concerned with the music of the one of the most significant Czech composer of the 20th century. After a brief introduction the text is split into three sections. The first one focuses on Martinů´s life with particular attention to his violin studies. The second section analyzes his primary influence and sources of his work. The third section contains the compositions for violin and piano. It also includes the musical examples. In the appendix there is the short biography as well as a lot of pictures
