Common and Different Aspects of Film and Theatre Production

This master's thesis is trying to find concurrences and differences between film and theatre production from general point of view. The beginning focuses on film and theatre as the phenomenon as such; subsequent part describes the work and roles of film and tehatre producers. Following chapters discuss the main members of a film crew and production team - their brief characterization, roles, competence. Other chapters focus on making the film itself - from the very first preparation, over shooting and finishing work to distribution, and realization of theatre production - from a dramatury plan, production intention over preparing and production realization to rehearsals, first night and reruns. Conclusion summarizes knowledge the student acquired in her research into this field
