First I considered important to outline the real deveolpment of piano studies. Then I tried to "map" the origin of the Transcendental Studies by Franz Liszt. I olso managed to define the concept "Transcendental Studies". After that I began to pay attention to individual studies, the circumstances under which they came into existence and to their characters.
