Vývoj zahraničního obchodu v automobilovém průmyslu ČR

The automotive industry is going thru the turbulent times. To name a few: territorial and structural changes, changes in demand and last but not least establishment of ecological procedures in manufacturing and in operation of motor vehicles. Automotive industry is one of the most important branches of Czech external trade. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the development of international trade in this sector. The highest volume is performed with the neighbouring countries -- the biggest volumes of international trade are performed with Germany and Slovakia. Export of motor vehicles comprises of 16 percent of the whole amount of Czech exports and imports of motor vehicles comprise of more than 8 percent of the whole amount of Czech imports. The production of automotive industry was constantly growing and in 2010 the number of produced cars exceeded one million, thanks to this result is the Czech Republic one of the biggest motor vehicle manufacturers all over the world. Despite of the financial crisis the Czech manufacturers did not limit their production -- on the contrary -- the production kept growing thanks to the "scrap yard bonus" in EU countries. The most of the produced cars was exported. Many suppliers are dependent on the automotive industry in the Czech Republic. They supply parts, services, or labour forces. The Czech automotive manufacturers are awaiting a growth of production in the future
