The Position of Italy in the International Trade

The objective of this thesis is to analyze the position of Italy in the international trade and to predict the development of Italy's foreign trade as a potential way out of the economic recession. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first one describes Italy's characteristic features and economic situation. The second part focus on the position of Italy in the international trade from following points of view: balance of payment, investment position, territorial and commodity structure. The final part is dedicated to bilateral trade relations between Italy and Czech Republic
