Czech Radio and its Role in the Support of Culture

This master thesis focuses on Czech Radio and its role in the support of culture. Culture has been carefully covered by the broadcasting of Czech Radio since its very foundation. The thesis provides a thorough overview of various activities that Czech Radio has been organising in this area in the programme offer of its stations, its marketing and PR activities and the organisation of cultural events as such. Based on the working experience at the Communications and External Relations Division of Czech Radio, this thesis presents a handbook for both the specialised public and potential partners and helps them understand the whole environment prior to the actual submission of their request for cooperation. This is valid for both the media cooperation and media partnership as well as the consequential possibilities and steps arising from the acceptance of the request
