Product placement in Czech television programmes was legalized in 1st June 2010. Product placement has started to be used by television stations since this date. Television stations gain other funds to their budgets. The aim of this thesis is to analyze by questionnaire the usage of product placement in Czech televisions' programmes including the analysis of its efficiency on segment of televiewers in age between 16 and 26 - whether televiewers at this age know what product placement is, whether they can recognize this type of advertising in programmes and whether product placement influences them doing shopping
