The aim of this thesis is to find the main factors that motivate the workers in non-profit organizations and that lead to their satisfaction. Another aim is to look into two non-state non-profit organizations and find out about the current state of their employees' motivation. The first part of this thesis deals with the non-profit sector, especially the non-state non-profit organizations. It also explains motivation, factors influencing it, and contains several motivation theories and it's connection with satisfaction. In the second part both non-profit organizations are introduced and then the state of their workers' motivation and satisfaction is being found out with the help of interviews and questionnaires
