The aim of my bachelor thesis is to point at specifics of European job markets. Job markets in the European Union are compared according to individual social models. Those models are Nordic, continental, Anglo-Saxon and Mediterranean. The thesis focuses on comparison of an overall employment of population, employment of men and women, employment of elderly people aged 55-64 and youth unemployment. Next, the thesis focuses on one of the model applied in Nordic countries, the model of flexicurity, which is considered to be a motive force of job markets reforms.
