Media broadcast every day a huge number of signals and messages that affect us, without we are aware of them. In most cases it is about a distorted reality, which seems like real reality. This, from my point of view, affect the self-confidence of current women - with a different hair colour, skin colour, with different proportions. When they are facing perfection that the media present, they feel mean and unhappy with their bodies. By analyzing data from a marketing database and created questionnaire I will try to confirm this hypothesis. In conclusion then I will propose procedures that could reduce these negative impacts or at least reduce them.
