Perception of Ideal Beauty

Media broadcast every day a huge number of signals and messages that affect us, without we are aware of them. In most cases it is about a distorted reality, which seems like real reality. This, from my point of view, affect the self-confidence of current women - with a different hair colour, skin colour, with different proportions. When they are facing perfection that the media present, they feel mean and unhappy with their bodies. By analyzing data from a marketing database and created questionnaire I will try to confirm this hypothesis. In conclusion then I will propose procedures that could reduce these negative impacts or at least reduce them. It is necessary to extend the idea of real beauty and displace untouchable perfection, on which responds still younger girls. Looking back to past, we discover that before Twiggy had become famous, was respected the exact opposite of female beauty.
