Add to ORKGThe Kingdom of Norway has long been trying to present itself as a peace-keeping international actor. Using the case of Norwegian humanitarian and development assistance to Sudan, the thesis will try to find out whether the national values also influence the Norwegian model of peace-keeping nation, and estimate the efficiency of Norwegian humanitarian and development assistance. First two chapters introduce the basic values of Norwegian society and the conflict situation in Sudan for further analysis of activities of the Norwegian government and non-governmental organisations in Sudan.
