EXIMBANKA SR

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to introduce the principles of operating of the Export-import bank of Slovakia in the area of providing official state support for export credits and to evaluate its significance for Slovak export on the basis of the existing activities analysis. The first part deals with credit risks from the point of view of export-credit agencies and the possibilities of its reducing via insurance. The theoretical part ends with international rules and agreements on financing and insurance of export credits with the state support. The second part deals with the importance of export for the Slovak republic and the introduction of the government exporting strategy. The last part is dedicated to the EXIMBANK SR itself, in which there are introduced the principles of management and the analysis of the activities in years 2006 and 2010 with focus on the support of the export. On the basis of its results the importance of EXIMBANK SR is significant for the Slovak export
