The aim of my diploma thesis is to find out if there are any differences in perception of quality of food between the consumers from Czech Republic and Germany. There are described the areas that may affect consumer's perception of quality of food in the Czech Republic and Germany. The theoretical part of my diploma thesis includes the evaluation and comparison of the legal system of consumer protection and food labeling in both countries. Furthermore, there are described various influences that can affect the perception of quality and consumer behavior.
