The purpose of this bachelor's thesis is definiton of Advanced Digital Illustration as a standalone discipline of digitlac graphic arts, separated from vector graphics and photographic retouching/montage. The thesis is made of 3 parts. The first theoretical part contains an introduction do Digital Illustration along with the history of the discipline. Precise borders will be also set to divide ADI from other digital art fields, in which is ADI often subsumed. Next, I will be introducing software and hardware commonly used for PDI.
