The employment of women after maternity leave

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of female employment in the Czech Republic with an emphasis on the compatibility of the family and professional life. The aim is to explore the extent to which maternity leave affects employment of women, what are the obstacles that prevent them from finding jobs. In the focus is family policy setting and tools of employment policy in the Czech Republic, especially expenditures from the state budget. The detailed analysis of the labor market in the Czech Republic and in the region Havlickuv Brod is included. The core of the work is represented by the research of the unemployment of women after maternity leave, made in the region Havlickuv Brod. The evaluation of the research findings and the outline of possible solutions regarding the compatibility of work and family are in the conclusion
