Ann Fabens grew up on a farm in Tennessee. She left to attend college and there met her husband. Her husband\u27s love of Cleveland eventually brought the new family to the area. Much of Fabens\u27 life was spent volunteering with the Junior League and Rainbow Hospital. She vividly describes the experiences she had at her various volunteering assignments. When not volunteering, Fabens enjoyed spending time with her family, and much of their leisure time was spent on the lakes. Fabens also frequented the shops in downtown Cleveland, but mentions that over the years she started to patronize suburban shopping centers
