This interview was conducted as part of the CSU 50th Anniversary Commemmoration. Gerald Fuerst is a Cleveland native who attended Cathedral Latin and later CRWU for both his bachelor\u27s and law degrees. He served as a representative in the Ohio legislature from 1962-1966 and was one of the co-sponsors of the CSU Bill. Later he served as the Cuyahoga County Clerk of Courts, winning 9 elections and holding the position for 38 years before retiring in 2013.
