According to the National Center for Educational Statistics, there are close to 100,000 public schools and over 33,000 private schools in the United States. Each of these schools have different mission statements, pedagogies, philosophies and purposes along with different types of students. These schools are led by a variety of leaders with different levels of education and leadership styles.
