An Open-label Pilot Study of Transdermal Selegiline for Depression in Parkinson\u27s Disease Patients

Depression is one of the most common non-motor symptoms of PD with reported prevalence rates from 40 to 80%. Transdermal selegiline was recently approved for the treatment of depression. There have been no reports of transdermal selegiline for depression in PD patients; however, other forms of selegiline have been shown to be effective treatments for controlling PD symptoms.
