The movie “Woodlawn” opens October 16 in theaters nationwide, telling the true story of how love and unity overcame hate and division in the early 1970s in Birmingham, Alabama. The story follows football player Tony Nathan and fellow African-American students as they struggled for acceptance after the integration of Woodlawn High School in 1973. The movie, directed and produced by Jon Erwin and Andrew Erwin, includes the work of several Cedarville University graduates.
