French loan words in the modern Italian language

This Bachelor thesis deals with french loan words in italian language. Their first documented occurrences are from the beginning of the 20. century, concretely from the year 1900 to 1910 and from the 80s. The work is devided in two main parts. The first part includes theoretical basis for understanding the concrete term loan word then the importance of loan words for the enrichment of the italian language in the 20. century and there are also information about their division. The second part analyses firstly all the selected sample according to various criterions and then the occurrences of some choice loan words in two different corpuses. The aim of this thesis is to verify the teoretical assumption that says the french language stops being the main source for the italian language in the meaning of linguistic enrichment. But it would also demonstrate we find more occurrences of no adapted loan words
