This bachelor thesis deals with the prevention of crime and the implementation of preventive projects in the South Bohemia and area of České Budějovice. The first part describes the most important concepts. In the second part it refers to the structure of crime prevention ? social prevention, situational prevention. In the third part the thesis deals with the concepts of primary prevention, secondary prevention. The fourth part of this work summarizes and highlights the way in organizing crime prevention in the Czech Republic, then in the South Bohemia and in the area of České Budějovice. The fifth part deals with concrete organisations, that are engaged in the preventive activities and provide them as well as individual programs, which are practising in this area in the district of České Budějovice
