Truancy Prevention in Secondary Schools

The bachelor thesis called "Truancy Prevention in Secondary Schools" deals with truancy especially in the context of prevention. The main goal of my work is a description of possibilities of primary and secondary prevention and a suggestion of how to use leisure activities for truancy prevention. The introductory chapters are focused on definition and characteristics of truancy. There is also a description of external and internal causes of truancy as an important part of understanding of a suitable prevention approach. The successive chapters follow up the causes of truancy and offer various ways of prevention in school and in family. The theme concludes in a chapter connecting truancy with an offer of prevention alternatives within the framework of leisure activities
