This work primary deals with Scotus` and Kant{\crq}s conception of science. The first part is introducing Aristotelian conception of science which Scotus` conception is based on. Through criticism of Henry of Ghent`s ilumination theory of knowledge is explained natural cognition, hold by John Duns Scotus for it{\crq}s a necesary part of Scotus` conception of science, which this work deals with at the end of the first part. Second part of this work contains an explanation of terms a priori/a posteriori, synthetic/analytic in the Kantian context.
