Bachelor's thesis is focused on volunteer service and its contribution to the organizations that are using it. The theoretical part deals with the development of volunteering in Czech Republic and the way how it is affected by legislation. There are the terms of volunteering, volunteer and his motivation, his activity and general benefit for organization. The practical part describes the research that was conducted in organizations that use volunteer service in Český Krumlov. The aim was to answer the question of what the presence of a volunteer brings to these organizations
