The Problems of the Nowadays Position of Father in the Family or The Crisis of Parental Identity

The work deals with position of father in the modern-day family. The dominant position of father in family was lost within the empancipation of women inside the society. There become the system of patriarchy. The modern father has lost his position as a breadwinner of family, becouse of women try to assert at labour market too. The modern father has to find the new identity. He falls into split between traditional and modern position of father. In the work there is described the position of father within the period of patriarchy and his positon at the modern-day family. The modern father tries to be more partner than autoritarian and strict father to his children. He wants to join in the family life. The work also deals with the importance of father to be the part of family. The last section is dedicated to influence of father on development of his children, which is connected with looking for their identity
