Age structure analysis at man swimmer on World Championship\\

Knowing the top-performance age in competitive swimming is one of the important factors in making the training plans and also in timing the racing form of each individual correctly. The data obtained from the sources available have been statictically analysed and the results of these statistics used to define the top-performance age in individual swimming competitions. The results of the most successful swimmers in the top competitions, i.e. the World Championships and the Olympic Games, in the years 1970 till 2007 have been examined and worked out. Apart from defining the top-performace age, the aim of this work is also to answer questions concerning the general features of defining the top-performance age, the possibility of setting this data exactly and, last but not least, marking out the recent trends in top-performance age development
