The bachelor work deals with the Czech translations of the French version of the European legislative texts from the area "Judicial cooperation in civil matters" and their correctness. The first part handles definitions of linguistic terminology used in the present work. Then there is a short presentation of the terms "corpus" and "corpus linguistics" and the selection of studied texts with brief presentation of the software used for the work with parallel corpuses. The second part analyses the correctness of the Czech translations from the French equivalents whereas the purpose is to locate incorrect translations and propose suitable solutions. The work ends with French-Czech vocabulary of studied terms and collocations
