Photographic documentation, its use and benefits for the branch of nursing.

The Bachelor Thesis ``Photographic documentation, its use and benefits for the branch of nursing`` focuses on the use of this method in the nursing practice. The theoretical part characterises the nursing process and the medical documentation within the scope of which the photographic documentation would be used. Another part of the present state focuses on the photographic documentation method and its benefits in practice, describes terms and aids for the suitable keeping of photographic documentation. Further, it lists possibilities of use and knowledge obtained from foreign literature. An interesting aspect in the keeping of photographic documentation is using the informed consent. Examples of the practical use of photographic documentation are presented in the last chapter of the theoretical part. Three objectives are set for the research part. The first one concerns the use of photographic documentation in the branch of nursing, the second objective is to find out nurses{\crq} opinions of incorporating about photographic documentation in the branch of nursing, and the third objective of the thesis focuses on clients{\crq} opinions in the keeping of photographic documentation. To evaluate the objectives, five research hypotheses were created that focus on the benefits of the use of photographic documentation in the nursing process, whether nurses have met with this method in professional journals and whether photographic documentation is used as a motivation means for the nursing practice. Hypotheses laid down for clients focus on the agreement with creating photographic documentation and whether they see benefits of keeping this method. The methodology was laid down by means a quantitative research investigation, which consists in handing out anonymous questionnaires for nurses and inquiries for clients in selected surgery, intern and dermatology departments in the Czech Republic. The evaluation of the research investigation was conducted in the Microsoft Excel 2007 programme in the form of graphs that were used in the results.
