Current stage of the process of adoption of the Treaty establishing a Constitution for Europe

Bachelor thesis Current stage of the process of adoption of the Treaty establishing a Constitution for Europe consists of eight chapters. The first part puts mind to the contractual development of European integration which began by the Schuman declaration and ends by the ratification of the Treaty of Lisbon this year. This part approaches content of the EU Constitution, changes to be done, its advantages and disadvantages and also the way of its ratification. The second part describes the Treaty of Lisbon which is already approved and brings the comparison with the original concept of the Treaty establishing a Constitution for Europe. The heart of the thesis is a view on the contemporary situation in the Czech Republic, responses of Czech general public on the EU Constitution and also on the expected ratification of the Treaty of Lisbon. The Bachelor thesis contains the summary in French and a bilingual glossary as well
