The main theme of the bachelor thesis is the analysis of the Czech and French terminology used in the European legislative texts aimed at the section {\clqq}Police cooperation``. The first, theoretic part attends to the general principles used for the translation of the legislative texts and to the Czech and European institutions, which participated on the translation of the acquis communautaire into the Czech language. In the second part is described the analysis of the investigated specialized terminology in terms of accuracy of the translation, especially respecting of the obligatory forms in accordance with the terminology databases ISAP and IATE.
