Bio Products in the Nourishment of Student of the Faculty of Education, University of South Bohemia in Ceske Budejovice, Department of Education to Health

The aim of the thesis was to get health-related information about the students of the Health Education study programme at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. It was aimed at finding out about the students' awareness of organic food, their attitude to it and its inclusion to their diet. In the theoretical part, organic farming and organic food were defined on the basis of effective legislation. The organic food processing, food quality and food influence on health were specified. In the practical part, the survey findings were elaborated. The research was done on 260 students of the Health Education study programme. The findings showed that the students are familiar with organic food and that they include it to their diet
