NGOism: An Analysis

The Bachelor's thesis deals with the concept of NGOism and its analysis in the broader context while the main emphasis is put on the political and economical context of the Czech Republic. The first part deals with the problems of terminology used in the non-profit sector and the characteristics of a non-profit organization as such. It is followed by a discussion of possibilities for influencing the non-profit sector by the state in legislative and financial terms. The last chapter summarizes different approaches to civil society and the debate that arose after certain tendencies of some organizations in the third sector were named NGOism and post-democracy.
